Our Story
Mikel May's first opened its doors on Bob Hall Pier, giving folks a place to grab a bite & a cold drink with the Gulf rolling in just beneath Your feet. For years it was part of the rhythm of the island.
That all changed in 2020, when Hurricane Hanna destroyed the pier & left us without a home.
Mikel May's Too is the next chapter. We’ve settled on Padre Island along the canals, carrying forward the same easygoing food, friendly faces, & island spirit that Our Community came to love. The view may be different, but the heart of Mikel Mays is right where it’s always been.
